LOVE LOVE LOVE this blog...was directed here by a friend from k-12 who recognized both my love of YA and my addiction to snarky blogs. I was a HS English teacher in San Antonio for 5 years and am currently a stay-at-home mom in Round Rock, headed to UT's School of Information for their school librarian's program in the fall. I'm totally addicted to YA lit and love that this blog feeds my addiction!!!!!!!

I'm a Minnesotan!! :D :D :D And also I do read the backs of cereal boxes during breakfast. It's annoying to have nothing to do while you eat.

I'm your new biggest fan. I have a LOT of favorite YA boys, but right now I'm gonna pick George from The Song of the Lioness quartet, King Zachary from Green Rider, and Fred and George Weasley. I would marry any of those in a heartbeat.

Love your blog! I'm a school librarian in the UK so spend a lot of my time reading YA for work and for fun. Just read your Chaos Walking reviews and adored them - I agree that they're better than The Hunger Games, but only just. I was lucky enough to meet Patrick when I booked him to visit my school and he was the loveliest guy and really soft spoken considering how intense and brutal his books are. He gave our kids an amazing talk and signed my books with lovely personalised messages. I also think I freaked him out a bit because I just wanted to talk about the books constantly. Have you read his latest book A Monster Calls? Also to let you know that I tweeted him a link to your review because its the best review ever.

I just discovered your site through someone else's Tweet. So happy! It makes me giddy to know there are other "adults" out there like me! :-) Love reading YA with a glass of Riesling in hand! Just finished reading Kody Keplinger's "The DUFF" and still swooning over Wesley Rush! :-D

Absolutely love your blog! I never read YA until my thirteen year-old niece spent the summer with me. Now it's pretty much all I read. I even went so far as to write a novel myself, told from the guy's point of view. I've spent most of my adult life as a coach and guardian to many teenage boys, including two of my own. I just had to take advantage of the cultural immersion. Glad to have found your site!

Hey hey ladies. I'm here because Erin is the lady version of my husband. I'm not new to you now, but I wanted to share some inspiration you gave me. Y'all always sound like you're having the most fun drinking cocktails, but I don't love alcohol because it makes me feel kind of sick. So I think I'm going to start drinking mocktails while I read my YA. And it's entirely possible I'll blog about this experience. You're all so inspirational!
