In 2023, senior Justin Warren lives with his alcoholic mom and his creepy great-uncle, and life post high-school graduation seems to contain nothing more than his dead-end job at the Dollar Tree and watching his depressed mother waste away. In 1985, senior Rose Yin is struggling to find her place in a family more focused on her step-mom’s mayoral campaign and with a best-friend-turned-crush whose spending all his time with a new girlfriend.
When a car accident catapults Justin back to the very week before his grandparents are supposed to die in a fire and right into Rose Yin’s path, can the two of them figure out why Justin has become a man out of time? And can they do it before anyone dies?
