Jenny - I am super excited to read this book now (not that I wasn't before because I was) but now I am extra excited! And I would watch Taylor Lautner in anything, including a starring role in Stretch Armstrong... which sounds horrible, but Stretch was shirtless right?

teresa, i think "along for the ride" definitely picks up, although it's not my favorite of dessen's books. basically, i found it worth finishing, but it is a relatively quiet read.

and i'm gonna review "paper towns" next week, so make sure you check it out and then feel free to totally and completely disagree with me in the comments. cos here at FYA, we are all about democratic revolutions. esp. when they're lead by katniss and peeta.

I am so excited about this - but find it highly unfair that I cannot get it today! Like, I would totally quit Along for the Ride, and start this, if it was available! So unfair.

On a side note, does Along for the Ride pick up? I'm suck at page 188.

Posh - I have lots of trouble with guys perspectives, too. That was a major reason I hated Paper towns, and I just saw you gave it 4 stars. Interesting... But I don't know if I hated that book because of the terrible cover, or the guy perspective, or a mix of both.

Great review! I'm excited for the Gardener!

"p.s. please tell me that the girl’s name is soylent green." heee!

This premise has me totally intrigued! I love amnesia! And mysterious trance-breaking triggers like Mason's video of his dad. Sounds very cool.

jenny, thanks for reviewing yet another awesome book featuring a male perspective. while i feel like a total PhD when it comes to girlie books, i have v. little awareness of the male YA genre, and i definitely want to get schooled in this area (and, along similar lines, i believe it's important for FYA to explore all types of teen fiction).

p.s. please tell me that the girl's name is soylent green.
