ok, so I’m about 3/4 of the way through the first book and I can’t decide who to swoon over more, Dimitri or Christian (not sure what that says about me, maybe my love of chivalry has warped me so much that setting someone on fire to defend my honor sounds kind of sweet….you know, in a psycho Mark Whalberg in Fear kind of way). These covers aren’t just DNRIP, they’re so embarrasing that I wouldn’t even BUY it in public. I ordered it online but now I’m tearing through it so fast that I may have to just go to a bookstore where no one knows me and scoop up the next book in the series.

Ooooh Dimitri. I mean, he is what made this series (I’ve only read the first one with that bizarro Angelina Jolie twin on the cover) worth it for me. And I love your casting of Kate Dennings. I did find it really annoying to be constantly reminded of how Rose looked. Yeah. I get it. She’s curvy with big cahungas. Yeah. Every guy she meets wants to get all on her. Got it.
My favorite line in the book: “I couldn’t be Mason’s girlfriend because when I imagined someone holding me and whispering dirty things in my ear, he had a Russian accent.” Loved that line.

Aww, I miss Big Sandwich! Mandy would also make this for Smallville marathons.

Okay, I’m one of the people who’s totally sick of the vampire glut, but Sarah sold me with this super-emphatic review! It sounds awesome! I love Russians! And…I love Taylor Swift, okay? I mean, not her music obviously, since I’m not a tween, but just in general, I’m totally obsessed with her face and her lovelife.

Seriously, why are the covers so ugly? They remind me of the cover art on the Buffy dvds, seasons 1-3, but it was BUFFY so of course I bought them. (Um, the day they came out. And then me and my friend Mandy would make Big Sandwich, which is where we bought an entire loaf of bakery bread, a pound of meat, a pound of cheese and a jar of pickles, layered them all together and ate it for six hours.)
